MGate 5114 is an industrial Ethernet gateway with 2 Ethernet and 1 RS-232/422/485 serial port for communication between Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, IEC 60870-5-101 and IEC 60870-5-104 protocols. In an energy automation system or communication network, there may be devices in the field that use very different communication protocols. While connecting each of these devices to the SCADA system, protocol incompatibility may cause various problems. MGate 5114 provides users with the flexibility needed in communication between devices in these networks by integrating frequently used energy protocols into the system. You can use the MGate 5114 as a Modbus master/client or IEC 60870-5-101 master to integrate your Modbus or IEC 101 devices into an IEC 104 network, so you can collect, receive or send data on IEC 104 systems.
