UPort 1250 USB-to-serial converter allows you to connect 2 RS-232/422/485 devices to your laptop or workstation via USB (Universal Serial Bus). It is also ideal for motion, instrumentation and point-of-sale applications. USB plug & play makes serial port expansion very convenient and eliminates the need for IRQ, DMA, or I/O address resources. Users do not have to open the chassis or turn off the power to add a COM port, saving both time and cost.
