TCF-142-M-ST-T media converter supports RS-232/422/485 serial interfaces and multi-mode fiber communication. The device can automatically detect serial baudrate, so even if the baudrate changes on any of the connected devices, uninterrupted data transfer continues without data loss. TCF-142-M-ST-T converter can be used to connect serial devices to fiber ring. To create a ring, you need to connect one TCF-142-M-ST-T Tx port to the Rx of the converter next to it. After the ring is created, the TCF-142-M-ST-T converter should be put into "ring mode" with DIP switches. When a signal is sent from a point, this signal will pass through all elements of the ring and will be blocked when it returns to the sending component. TCF-142-M-ST A fiber ring with a total length of 5 km can be created with -T. Thanks to Moxa's patented ADDC RS-485 data routing mechanism, the need to use wave-shaped signals is eliminated.

The T model has the durability to operate smoothly even at extreme temperatures.
