RS-232/422/485 to Fiber Optic Converter. SC Multi-mode.

TCF-142-M-SC media converter supports RS-232/422/485 serial interfaces and multi-mode fiber communication. The device can automatically detect serial baudrate, so even if the baudrate changes on any of the connected devices, uninterrupted data transfer continues without data loss. TCF-142-M-SC converter can be used to connect serial devices to fiber ring. To create a ring, you need to connect one TCF-142-M-SC Tx port to the Rx of the converter next to it. After the ring is created, the TCF-142-M-SC converter should be put into "ring mode" using DIP switches. When a signal is sent from one point, this signal will pass through all elements of the ring and will be blocked when it returns to the sending component. A total of 5 km long fiber ring can be created with TCF-142-M-SC. Thanks to Moxa's patented ADDC RS-485 data routing mechanism, the need to use wave-shaped signals is eliminated.
