NPort W2150A is an ideal choice for wireless LAN connection of serial devices such as PLCs, meters and sensors. The biggest advantage of this device is that it transfers serial information via wireless communication via TCP/IP, thus providing great convenience in systems where cabling is difficult or expensive. In Infrastructure Mode or Ad-Hoc Mode, NPort W2150A connects to Wi-Fi networks in offices or factories and continues data transfer with the strongest signal among the Access Points in that area. This feature completely prevents disconnection in environments where mobile devices are controlled.
