IA5000A device server provides easy and reliable serial-to-Ethernet connection for the industrial automation market. They support TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Real COM, RFC2217, Reverse Telnet, Pair Connection and Ethernet Modem operating modes. In this way, the connection of RS-232/422/485 serial devices (devices such as PLCs, sensors, measurement systems, motors, barcode readers and operator displays). DIN-Rail mounting kit is also delivered with the product. Each NPort IA5000 Series device server has two Ethernet ports that can also be used as Ethernet switch ports. A port directly to the network or server; The other port is for connection to another NPort IA device server or Ethernet device. With dual Ethernet ports, the need for a separate Ethernet switch for each device is eliminated and creates much less cable cost. NPort IA5000A Series device servers have two DC power inputs that can be connected simultaneously. If one of the power inputs fails, the other power support is automatically activated. In this way, an uninterrupted operating system can be established. The NPort IA5450AI-T model features an additional 1 KV voltage protection, a wide -40 to +75 °C operating temperature range and 4 serial ports.
