NPort 5210A device server is designed to enable your serial devices to communicate over the network and to give your PC the ability to control these serial devices from anywhere on the network. The NPort 5210A device server is ultra-thin, durable and user-friendly, enabling practical and reliable Ethernet solutions.

Moxa MiiNe is a miniature but extremely powerful ARM-based serial to Ethernet converter with embedded RAM and Flash. With MiiNe inside, the NPort 5210A series has become the device with the lowest power consumption in the world. The NPort 5210A series provides at least 50% power savings compared to existing solutions and offers engineers solutions compatible with today's challenging industrial conditions. Leakage, usually caused by high voltage from the switch or lightning events, is a typical threat to all electronic devices. Moxa's leading protection technology, also featured in the NPort 5210A, has been tested and proven to comply with IEC 61000-4-5 standards. This innovative leakage protection provides highly durable Serial-to-Ethernet solutions and ensures that electronic devices are protected against voltage surges or operate smoothly in conditions with high electrical noise.

NPort 5210A's 3-step web-based setup feature is very clear and user-friendly. The NPort 5210A's web console walks users through the 3 simple setup steps required to activate Serial to Ethernet conversion. With this very fast 3-step web-based installation, users can complete NPort settings and move on to their applications in just 30 seconds. The NPort 5210A's COM Grouping function enables data routing from one port to several separate physical COM ports (on NPort devices). Thanks to COM Grouping, it is possible to control more than one physical serial port at the same time via a single COM port.
