MGate 5109 is an industrial Ethernet gateway that converts between Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP and DNP3 serial/TCP/UDP protocols. All models feature a sturdy metal chassis that can be installed on a DIN rail and built-in serial port protection. MGate 5109 also supports transparent mode for easy integration of Modbus RTU/ASCII networks with Modbus TCP or DNP3 serial networks with DNP3 TCP/UDP. MGate 5109 series gateways provide easy troubleshooting, especially during the installation phase, with Modbus and DNP3 protocol traffic control: Communication problems may occur as a result of incorrect software parameters such as Slave ID and registration address. The MGate 5109 also has agent mode support for data exchange between Modbus and DNP3 networks or a data concentrator feature for multiple Modbus slaves or DNP3 outstations. Its durable design is well-suited for energy, oil & gas, water and wastewater applications.
