MGate 5102-PBM-PN

The MGate 5102-PBM-PN gateway provides a communication portal between devices such as PROFIBUS PLCs or drives and PROFINET servers. All models have a durable metal case and DIN-rail installation is possible. Offers built-in optical isolation protection. LEDs indicating PROFIBUS and Ethernet status provide easy maintenance, while its durable design makes it suitable for industrial applications such as oil & gas, energy, process and factory automation.

Configuration and operation are easy because both the Windows MGate Manager software and the web console support the AutoScan function. AutoScan simplifies the configuration of your gateway by detecting all connected PROFIBUS slave devices and available I/O modules, and provides a data mapping table. In addition, it is possible to export all PROFIBUS I/O modules to a GSDML file with one click to aid in the configuration of the PROFINET controller (e.g./Siemens PLC).

MGate 5102-PBM-PN enables secure remote maintenance with web and Telnet console, which supports cryptographic commutation functions such as HTTPS and SSH, thus preventing unauthorized access. The status and changes of I/O data of all PROFIBUS slave devices can be monitored remotely via the web console, and users can also review the logs from the web console to see what activities have occurred in the system. An alarm is provided with relay output for power input and Ethernet cable status. All these functions make the work of field personnel easier in troubleshooting and device maintenance.
