The ioLogik 2500 series are intelligent remote I/O products with custom hardware and software designs that provide an ideal solution for a wide range of industrial data collection applications. The products include a 4-port unmanaged Ethernet switch and 2 serial ports that allow them to easily connect to a variety of field devices. Even a single Ethernet port can be used to provide more than 100 channels by connecting up to 8 ioLogik E1200 series modules configured with a daisy chain topology. ioLogik 2542 serves as the head unit with Click&Go Plus logic programming that can control the entire I/O area. Most importantly, the ioLogik 2542's single IP is enough to connect the entire I/O area to your network. Thanks to this feature, it becomes the perfect solution for industrial sites that do not have enough IP addresses.
Powerful Logic Programming with New Click&Go Plus
The new Click&Go Plus logic programming supports developing up to 48 rules and up to 8 additional conditions/actions. In addition, the graphical user interface provides 3 logic gates and 3 multilayers, allowing you to build more powerful and efficient IO solutions. Once the Click&Go Plus logic rules have been defined, IOxpress's easy-to-use simulation function helps find potential errors before the rules take effect on devices.
Peer-to-peer (P2P) mode is widely used in industrial applications. Typically this mode requires the use of a P2P device on both sides of the connection. However, if the configuration between P2P devices does not match, the P2P connection will be broken, and it will be necessary to spend additional time and effort to check the P2P settings. With IOxpress, all that is required is to set up the output device. Once the device is installed, the P2P connection will be established automatically.
A Smarter Data Collection Solution with a Single IP for Multiple I/O Expansion
The unique expandable IO hardware design of the ioLogik 2500 series allows connecting up to 8 ioLogik E1200 modules into a versatile I/O area with over 100 different I/O channels. ioLogik 2542 acts as an ideal head unit and uses Click&Go Plus logic to control the entire I/O area, incorporating the entire I/O area into the network with a single IP.
User-Friendly IOxpress Offering Offline/Online Configuration
IOxpress integrates a user-friendly interface with offline/online configuration, allowing you to configure each I/O parameter offline. Then uploading the settings to your devices online greatly reduces the time and expense involved in configuring and managing your IO solutions.
Value-Added Modbus Gateway with a Powerful Datalogger
ioLogik 2542 supports micro SD cards with up to 32 GB of memory. Thus, the device becomes a powerful datalogger for storing valuable data. With the built-in FTP server, important data from the field can be accessed remotely via different systems. In addition, the 2 serial communication ports can be used to input data to devices using the Modbus RTU protocol and then convert the data into Modbus TCP or AOPC label format before transferring it to the Ethernet network.
Lower System Response Time with New MX-AOPC UA Server
The new MX-AOPC UA supports both UA and DA server types. This server has multiple advantages. In addition to ensuring the security of your system by offering a standard, state-of-the-art security model, it also supports communication channels via the standard UA TCP port. This means that messages may be transferred through third-party proxies. In addition, configuring a firewall is also easier as you don't have to worry about DCOM settings.
Besides all these, MX-AOPC supports both the conventional Modbus protocol and Moxa's patented push type communication mode. Unlike the typical passive "pull" method, "active" messages are automatically "pushed" to the SCADA system via the ioLogik 2542 in the event of I/O status changes or pre-configured events. This way, once information becomes available, it can be pushed accurately and efficiently into the SCADA system.
