The EDS-405A-EIP series are Ethernet/IP enabled 5 managed Ethernet switches. With the Ethernet/IP feature, the switches can be visible in the FactoryTalk® View software interface designed for the management and monitoring of industrial factory communication infrastructures. Thanks to embedded Ethernet/IP, EIP switches can be viewed in a dedicated frontend in FactoryTalk® View industrial management software, providing better operational visibility and network visibility into factory automation HMIs. EDS-405A-EIP also offers users many useful management functions such as IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, port mirroring, SNMP, bandwidth management, status notification by e-mail or relay.
