EDS-208A Series 8-port industrial Ethernet switches support IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u/x, 10/100M full/half-duplex, MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing. These switches provide 12/24/48 VDC (9.6 - 60 VDC), 18 - 30 VAC redundant power input and can be connected to active AC/DC power supplies simultaneously. They have the ability to operate in extremely harsh conditions such as marine applications (DNV/GL), hazardous substance zones (Class I Div. 2, ATEX Zone 2) and have FCC, TUV, UL, and CE standards.
All models have been subjected to 100% combustion testing, proving their resistance to the special conditions required for industrial automation and control applications. They can also provide broadcast protection with DIP switches that can be activated when necessary. In addition, the EDS-208A-MM-SC model is also suitable for use in fiber optic communication with its 2 multi-mode fiber ports.
