CP-118E-AI is a smart PCI Express serial port multiplexer designed specifically for use by industrial automation system installers and system integrators with POS and ATM applications. Compatible with all popular operating systems, CP-118E-AI has 8 serial ports supporting RS-232/422/485, which can reach data rate up to 921.6 kbps. Compatible with a wide spectrum of serial devices, the device also provides full modem control signals. In addition, since the CP-118E-AI can also work with PCI Express x1, it is possible to install it in any PCI Express slot.
