Moxa's CM-600 series has a wide range of Ethernet interface module options for EDS-600 modular Ethernet switches. IEEE 1588 V2 protocol is supported with the new CM-600-4TX-PTP switch module and increases the performance of the EDS-600 series in time-critical industrial applications. Thanks to this new feature, the message delay between devices has been reduced to micro-seconds. Compared to traditional devices that work with GPS-based time synchronization, the IEEE 1588 V2 compliant CM-600-4TX-PTP switch module enables easy synchronization of devices over an Ethernet network. The EDS-600 series offers users up to 4-port Fast Ethernet options with copper and fiber optic (SC/ST) connectors.
