NPort 5430 serial-to-ethernet converters enable 4 RS-422/485 devices to establish a reliable and transparent connection to Ethernet, allowing you to control these devices over the network with a simple installation. Data flow between the serial and Ethernet interface is bidirectional. With NPort 5430, you can create a centralized management system, have durable hardware and get practical solutions for future network expansion. This device is used to communicate with various devices for event control and remote data query over the TCP/IP network. For maximum flexibility, each serial port can operate in a separate operating mode. For example, port 1 can be in Driver mode, port 2 in TCP Server mode, and ports 3 and 4 in TCP Client mode. NPort 5430 converters have both DC terminal block and DC power cable input with dual power supply support. Support for two types of power input gives users flexibility for different applications.
