MGate MB3170I-T isolated extra durable advanced Modbus gateway is an extremely flexible solution that can be used for the integration of Modbus systems of all sizes and structures. Modbus TCP allows ASCII and RTU devices to be used in any combination, such as serial master to serial slave or serial and Ethernet master simultaneously. It has a special security system for immediate response and control of emergency commands. These extremely robust devices are suitable for DIN-rail mounting and also have an optical isolation option. As the complexity and size of Modbus networks increased, delays in the transmission of commands and responses began to cause bigger problems.

Winning the Taiwan Excellence and Good Design awards, the MGate MB3170 Series allows users to receive instant responses to specific commands they specify, with priority control of urgent commands. I models have 2kV additional magnetic isolation protection, while T models can operate in extreme temperatures from -40 to 75°C.
